SEO recommendations

Review prioritized keyword opportunities and start optimization or new-content workflows.

What this page is for

The Recommendations page collects optimization opportunities and new-content ideas from the available SEO data.

It is a review queue, not an automatic to-do list. Validate the underlying keyword, page, and business relevance before starting work.

Find the right recommendation

  1. Open Grow > SEO > Recommendations.
  2. Search by keyword or topic cluster.
  3. Choose:
    • All for the complete queue
    • Optimize for opportunities tied to existing visibility
    • Content Ideas for possible new pages
  4. Use pagination to review additional results.

Priority is a comparison signal. It does not account for every legal, editorial, strategic, or capacity consideration.

Start an optimization

  1. Filter to Optimize.
  2. Review the reason and current position.
  3. Open the related cluster or existing ranking page.
  4. Confirm that improving the existing page is better than creating a duplicate.
  5. Click Optimize.
  6. Wait for the success confirmation.
  7. Track the work in Content Schedule and Content Audit.

Start a new article

  1. Filter to Content Ideas.
  2. Review the keyword, volume, difficulty, position, and cluster.
  3. Check the Topical Map and live site for overlapping pages.
  4. Confirm the topic is useful to prospective clients and aligned with the firm's services.
  5. Click Write.
  6. Wait for the success confirmation.
  7. Track the new article in Content Schedule.

Decide not to act

A recommendation can be skipped when:

  • the query is irrelevant to the firm's real services
  • an existing page already covers the intent
  • the topic would create thin or duplicative content
  • the firm cannot make the necessary claims accurately
  • the expected business value does not justify the work
  • the available data is too limited or volatile

Leaving a recommendation in the queue does not change the website.

If recommendations are empty

  • Run keyword research in the Topical Map.
  • Connect Search Console for current position and coverage context.
  • Clear search text and segment filters.
  • Allow recent research and search data to finish processing.
