Media

See, review, download, pin, and remove the ad creatives, films, landing pages, and brand files Superpractice makes for your firm, and add your own files.

Grow > Media holds everything the Superpractice team makes for your firm: ad creatives, films, videos, audio, landing pages, logos and brand files, photos, and documents. Your firm's own avatar videos are here too, and anyone at your firm can add files of their own. Everyone at your firm sees the same library.

Find what you need

Tabs

The tabs across the top show where each item is in review. Each tab's count is over your whole library and does not change with filters or search.

  • All: everything in your library.
  • To review: items waiting for your firm to approve them or ask for changes, the longest-waiting first. Each card says how long it has waited, and V2 or later when it is a new version.
  • Changes requested: items you asked to change. Each card says who asked and when.
  • Approved: items your firm approved. Each card says who approved and when.
  • Your uploads: files people at your firm added themselves. Each card says who added it.

The Media item in the sidebar shows how many items are waiting for your review. Avatar videos and files your firm added itself are not reviewed, so they are never counted there.

Click Filters to narrow the library. Each filter you set shows as a chip beside the button. Click a chip to change it, or its × to remove it. Clear all removes every filter and the search.

  • Type: Ad creative, Film, Video, Audio, Landing page, Logo, Photo, Document, or Avatar video.
  • Size: Square (1:1), Portrait (4:5), Story (9:16), Landscape (16:9), or Wide (1.91:1). When you pick one size, every card and the window show each item's file in that size.
  • File type, such as PNG, MP4, or PDF.
  • Added: Any time, Today, This week, Last week, This month, Last month, This quarter, or a Custom range with a start and end date. Weeks start on Monday.
  • Reviewed by: the person at your firm who approved an item or asked for changes.

Size and Added also sit in the toolbar as one-click filters.

The search field at the right of the toolbar finds items by title, description, or file name.

Sort and layout

  • Sort by Newest first, Oldest first, Title A to Z, or Waiting longest. Newest and oldest group the library under month headings.
  • Switch between the grid, which shows every item at its real shape, and the list.

Saved views

A saved view keeps a tab, its filters, the search, and the sort, so you can come back to it in one click.

  1. Pick a tab, set filters, or search.
  2. Click Saved views, then name the view under Save this view.
  3. Owners and admins choose who sees it: Just me or Everyone at the firm. Other teammates' views are just for them.

Saved views sit as tabs after Your uploads. Click one to apply it, and click it again to go back to All. Hover a view you can change and click × to delete it. Deleting a view never deletes any media.

Add your own files

Anyone at your firm can add pictures, video, audio, and PDFs to the library, so they can be used anywhere the app picks from Media.

  1. Click Add files at the top right.
  2. Drop files in, or click browse. Each file can be up to 500 MB.
  3. Each file gets its own row while it uploads. The title comes from the file name, and the type is picked from the file. Change either one in the row: a picture is a Photo or a Logo, a PDF a Document or a Logo, and video and audio keep their own types.
  4. When every file shows a check, click Add N to your library.

Cancel drops everything you added in the dialog. Each file is checked when it arrives: a file that isn't what its name says, or is over 500 MB, is not added, and its row says why.

Files you add are in All and Your uploads straight away, with no review. They have filters, search, pins, and saved views like everything else. Only an owner, an admin, or the person who added a file can delete it, and it's deleted for good.

Look at an item

Click a card or a row to open the item in a window. Use the arrow keys, or the arrows in the window, to step through the items shown on the page.

  • An item that comes in several sizes has a size switch under the picture.
  • Films, videos, and audio play in the window.
  • A landing page links to the live page.

Download

  • In the window, Download saves the file on screen. Download all saves every file the item holds.
  • On a card, hover and click the round download button to save every file of that item.
  • To download several items at once, tick them and click Download in the selection bar.

Review

Anyone at your firm can approve an item or ask for changes. Open it and use the review column on the right.

  • Approve: your firm signs off on this version.
  • Request changes: tell Superpractice what should change in a comment. Superpractice makes a new version and it comes back to To review.
  • Once decided, the column shows who decided, when, and the version. Change decision lets you decide again.

Your firm's decisions are kept as a record with who made them and when. Only your firm approves or asks for changes. The Superpractice team can comment but never decides for you.

Review several items at once

Tick the items, then click Approve or Request changes in the selection bar. With more than one item ticked, add a comment first. It is saved on every item. Avatar videos your firm made are left out of the decision.

New versions

When Superpractice uploads a new version, the review starts again: the item goes back to To review and everyone at your firm gets a notice in their bell. Click it to open the item. You always see the latest version. Earlier versions are kept as a record.

Comments

Every item has a comment thread under its review, with comments, decisions, and new versions in order.

  • Type in the box and press Enter to send. Shift+Enter starts a new line.
  • On a film, video, or audio, a comment can be pinned to a moment, such as AT 0:42. The chip shows where the player is when you write. Click it to leave the moment off. Clicking a moment in a comment jumps the player there.
  • Type @ to mention someone at your firm. They get a notice in their bell that you mentioned them on that item.
  • Comments from the Superpractice team are marked Superpractice.
  • Hover your own comment to Edit or Delete it. An edited comment says edited. Decisions and new versions in the thread can never be changed.

Pin to the top

Pin the items your firm uses most so they are always first. Pins are your firm's: anyone at the firm can pin or unpin, and everyone sees the same pins.

  • Hover a card and click the round pin button beside download. A filled pin means it is pinned. Click it again to unpin.
  • In the window, click ⋯ and choose Pin to top or Unpin.
  • To pin several items, tick them and click Pin in the selection bar. When every ticked item is already pinned, the button says Unpin.

Pinned items sit under Pinned at the top of every tab, the most recently pinned first. They still follow the tab, filters, and search, so a pinned item only shows where it would show anyway. In the list, pinned rows come first under the same heading.

Your firm can pin up to 12 items. To pin another, unpin one first.

Delete from your library

Remove items your firm no longer needs.

  • One item: open it, click ⋯, and choose Delete from library.
  • Several: tick them and click Delete in the selection bar.

You are asked to confirm first. The item comes off Media for everyone at your firm. Superpractice keeps a copy, with its approvals, as a record.

Avatar videos your firm made and files your firm added are deleted for good. Only an owner, an admin, or the person who made or added it can delete it.
