What the CallRail integration does
CallRail brings call tracking into Superpractice so calls can be tied to contacts and marketing source data.
Call history
Imports calls from the selected CallRail company.
Real-time webhooks
Registers a webhook when available, or gives you a URL to add manually.
Tracker overrides
Lets you override source, medium, and campaign per tracking number.
Attribution quality
Keeps call source data aligned with contact and matter reporting.
Setup
- In CallRail, create or copy an API key with access to the company you want to sync. CallRail's API docs are useful for confirming account and company access.
- In Superpractice, open Settings > Integrations > CallRail.
- Paste the API key and validate it.
- If multiple companies are available, select the correct company.
- Connect CallRail.
- If webhook auto-registration is unavailable, copy the webhook URL and create a webhook in CallRail.
- Paste the CallRail Webhook Signature Secret Token into Superpractice.
- Review tracking numbers and add source, medium, or campaign overrides where needed.
Tracker overrides
Use tracker overrides when CallRail tracker names are not specific enough for reporting. For example, one number pool might represent paid search while another represents organic search. Overrides make that explicit in Superpractice.
Troubleshooting
- If no companies appear, confirm the API key has access to an active CallRail company.
- If real-time calls do not arrive, confirm the webhook URL and signature token are saved.
- If attribution looks wrong, check tracker overrides first.
